ATA MET Technician

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ATA MET Technician to join a busy, modern bodyshop in Gloucester. This role offers competitive pay and the chance to work in a professional, well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) strip and refit work to manufacturer standards
• Remove and refit vehicle components, including mechanical parts, electrical systems, and trims
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Calibrate ADAS and other safety systems where required
• Work closely with panel and paint teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and adhere to safety standards

Requirements:

• ATA MET Accreditation essential
• Proven experience in MET strip/refit within a bodyshop environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail
• Commitment to quality workmanship
