Fire & Security Service Engineer Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our established and growing team, covering Manchester. This role focuses primarily on the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire and security systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on
- Fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately
- Ensure all works comply with BS5839, BS5266, and current H&S standards
- Provide a professional, customer-focused service on site
- Participate in an on-call rota (if required)
Requirements Essential:
- Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of BS5839 and relevant British Standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Desirable:
- FIA, FPA, or manufacturer training
- Experience with systems such as Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Morley, Paxton, Hikvision, Texecom, etc.
- ECS / CSCS card
- IPAF, PASMA, or similar certifications
