Panel Technician

Salary: Up to £59,000 per annum

Overview:
We are recruiting an experienced Panel Technician to join a high-performing bodyshop in West Thurrock. This role offers excellent earning potential and the opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped workshop with a strong, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out structural and non-structural panel repairs
• Complete panel replacement, realignment and welding tasks to manufacturer standards
• Use jigs, pulling systems and bodyshop equipment to repair vehicles accurately
• Strip and refit panels as required
• Work collaboratively with MET and paint teams to ensure efficient repair flow
• Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Panel Technician within a bodyshop environment
• Strong understanding of structural and heavy panel work
• Proficient in welding, bonding and panel repair techniques
• Ability to work to manufacturer repair methods
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality repairs
• ATA accreditation desirable but not essential
