Role Overview
- Manage the full project life cycle from start-up through delivery to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects
- Create, maintain, and update project plans and work breakdown structures
- Manage day-to-day project activities and tasks
- Lead project meetings with clients, suppliers, and third parties
- Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify, negotiate, and resolve project risks and issues (internally and externally)
- Manage project scope and change control processes
- Produce and maintain all project initiation and management documentation
- Ensure consistent and reliable resourcing throughout the project
- Take a hands-on approach when required to ensure client satisfaction
- Carry out full project handover to the client upon completion
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Extensive experience across the full project life cycle and project management methodologies
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. FIA, NSI, LPCB, C&G, or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and wider stakeholders
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and guide others in managing their workloads
- Strong presentation skills, able to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading project teams
- Essential: Previous experience with systems such as CCTV, Access Control, etc.
General Requirements
- Experience within the construction industry and/or Fire & Security systems
- Clear criminal record with no convictions
- Ability to pass a CRB / DBS check and full security industry screening process
