Security Install Engineer – Enterprise Systems

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (DOE)

Location: Based in Hatfield, covering London & surrounding areas

About the Role We are looking for a skilled Security Install Engineer to join our growing team, specialising in enterprise-level security systems across London and the surrounding regions. This role is installation-focused and suited to an engineer with experience working on large commercial, corporate, and critical infrastructure sites.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of enterprise security systems, including:
• Access control systems
• CCTV (IP & networked systems)
• Intruder alarms
• Integrated security platforms
• Working on large-scale commercial and corporate projects
• Installing containment, cabling, and field devices to a high standard
• System testing, commissioning, and handover to clients
• Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
• Liaising with project managers, clients, and other contractors on site
• Completing installation documentation accurately
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant British Standards and H&S requirements

Requirements Essential:

• Proven experience as a Security Install Engineer
• Strong background in enterprise / large-scale security systems
• Experience installing access control and IP CCTV systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience with systems such as Genetec, Lenel, Gallagher, CCure, Avigilon, Milestone, or similar
• Network knowledge (VLANs, IP addressing, PoE)
• ECS / CSCS card
• IPAF, PASMA
• Manufacturer certifications
