About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team, covering Watford and surrounding areas. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of fire and security systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, fault-finding, and repairing fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and ensuring compliance with current regulations
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system faults efficiently
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical support to clients
  • Completing all necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all work complies with BS5839, BS5306, and other relevant standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and handover of fire alarm and life safety systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all installations are fully operational, compliant with industry standards, and meet customer expectations.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning fire alarm and life safety systems, ensuring functionality and compliance.
  • Conducting thorough system testing and troubleshooting any faults or performance issues.
  • Producing accurate reports and documentation for each commissioned system.
  • Providing on-site technical support and advice to installation teams and clients.
  • Carrying out final handover procedures, including client training on system usage.
