Our client is an established engineering company who are doing a project based in the Eastbourne area. They are looking to bring on board a BMS Engineer to help with the project doing mainly commissioning related works.

This role is for someone to work on a subcontract basis, with the client offering at least 6 weeks worth of work, however they believe that there could be likely 10 weeks of work. For this role, the client is looking to offer a rate around the £350 mark.

They will need someone who can:

• Liaise with other engineers, managers and clients in an effective and positive manner
• To ensure the project deadline and commissioning objectives are met
• To commission in line with the client’s specifications
• Review and configure project software and documentation where necessary

You will communicate regularly with project management, ensuring that you provide progress reports. In addition to this, you will identify issues and snags that are disrupting the commissioning works.

As a commissioning engineer you will at times be required to work independently and as a team. It would be seen as an advantage to have the knowledge of certain non-proprietary protocols such as Modbus, mBus and BACnet.
