My client is a well established company based in the London area, who specializes with Building Management Systems (BMS).  They are looking to bring on board an experienced BMS software engineer to join their team and work on their projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Writing, testing, and delivering high-quality BMS software in line with project requirements.
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Ensuring that delivered projects meet high technical and quality standards while working within project budgets.
• Staying ahead of industry trends in smart building automation and IoT technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience with BMS software development across major platforms.
• Understanding of BMS communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet) and cloud-based integrations (e.g., MQTT, APIs).
• Ability to interpret technical documentation such as panel drawings, descriptions of operations, and points lists.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose system enhancements and optimizations.
• Relevant technical qualifications and certifications.

Desirable Skills:

• Training or certifications with Tridium, Schneider, or Distech.
• Knowledge of IT networks, smart building integrations, and standard naming conventions.
• CSCS card holder.
