Our client is a leading fire alarm services provider, now looking to expand their team with an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee a variety of projects. With a solid reputation in the industry, they are experiencing significant growth and require a skilled Project Manager to ensure smooth and successful execution of fire alarm system installations and upgrades.
Fire Alarm Project Manager – Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and deliver fire alarm system projects from inception through to completion, including installations, upgrades, and service contracts.
- Manage and oversee the servicing, repair, fault-finding, and maintenance of addressable, conventional, and GENT systems.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Maintain high standards of work quality and compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, ensuring clear communication and high customer satisfaction.
- Provide guidance and support to engineers, ensuring they have the resources and training required to complete their tasks effectively.
- Supervise and assist with system installations, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and troubleshoot potential issues promptly.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and procurement.
- Deliver technical reports and project documentation to clients, ensuring all work is thoroughly documented.
Fire Alarm Project Manager – Skills and Experience Required:
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- At least 3 years of experience in the Fire Alarm industry, with a focus on project management (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including addressable, conventional, and GENT systems.
- Proven experience in managing projects, coordinating teams, and liaising with clients.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, and/or City & Guilds.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- A positive, proactive attitude, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
