About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a well-established fire and security solutions provider, maintaining and servicing fire and security systems across Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
  
Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
• Conducting routine inspections and responding to service calls efficiently.
• Diagnosing faults and providing high-quality repairs to ensure system functionality.
• Working with a variety of fire and security equipment from leading manufacturers.
• Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring clients’ fire and security needs are met effectively.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards and technological advancements.
• Completing all necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Service Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
• Familiarity with leading brands such as Hikvision, Honeywell, Texecom, Paxton, and Apollo is desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving license (company vehicle provided).
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NSI, FIA, or equivalent) are a plus.
