About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Service Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a well-established security solutions provider, maintaining and servicing security systems across Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Conducting routine inspections and responding to service calls efficiently.
- Diagnosing faults and providing high-quality repairs to ensure system functionality.
- Working with a variety of security equipment from leading manufacturers.
- Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring clients’ security needs are met effectively.
- Keeping up to date with industry standards and technological advancements.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Service Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
- Familiarity with leading brands such as Hikvision, Honeywell, Texecom, and Paxton is desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving license (company vehicle provided).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NSI, FIA, or equivalent) are a plus.
