About the Role:

As a Strip Fitter, you will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling vehicle components to prepare vehicles for repair and finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely strip damaged vehicles to prepare for repair, including removal of trims, panels, and components.
- Refit vehicle parts and panels after repairs, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve any fitting issues during reassembly.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship to meet manufacturer and customer expectations.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met in all work undertaken.
- Keep workspaces clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Strip Fitter in an automotive environment.
- Competence in removing and refitting vehicle parts with precision.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Own tools are required.
