Fire Alarm Engineer – Installation
Location: Manchester & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum
I’m currently recruiting for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join a team covering Manchester and the surrounding areas.
The role will primarily involve the installation of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial sites. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with installation experience looking to join a growing team with a competitive salary and ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing fire alarm systems across commercial sites.
- Carrying out installation, wiring and commissioning of fire alarm equipment.
- Installing fire alarm panels, detectors, sounders and associated equipment.
- Ensuring all installations are completed in line with relevant regulations and standards.
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
- Strong experience in fire alarm installations.
- Good technical knowledge of fire alarm systems.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards, including BS 5839.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
